Yep -- FWIW, I'll bet most of them are under the impression that the
"human shredder" story was true.

Fundamentally, I don't think many USians, Australians or UKians really
consider thousands of dead Iraqis as an election issue.   (For that
matter, I'd doubt that many Irish would, either, if our govt had supported
the war in any concrete way apart from Ireland's use as a refuelling
depot for warplanes.)
