Should it be "unnormalized" -- as was said earlier, denormalized
implies that it was once normalized properly?

Also, if you're interested in this sort of thing, Michael Blaha (the
second author of the famous Rumbaugh et al. book on OMT, a precursor
of UML) has written about database reverse engineering, both "how to"
and why it's important to see whether vendors understand how to use
DBs properly.
