Agreed! -- or at least, nearly.  (can't line a cat's litter tray
with an e-ink reader.)

About time -- Sony have spent 3 years crippling this with DRM idiocy.
However, the BBeB format (cf http://www.sven.de/librie/Librie/FAQ ) is
still proprietary, and the converter software appears to be Windows-only.
In the meantime, there is a converter called "makelrf", but it generates
image-files only; not (zoomable,searchable) text.

I'll wait until the format is illegally reversed, or Sony open it (ha!
of course I'm joking on that count ;)
