I never knew NSA was operating by warrants, and their Narus
use was legal. This is going to slow down the gumshoes a bit, though.

Otoh, starting 2008 all EU providers (private parties also) are
supposed to log all connection info (who, where, when, with whom),
and render such information upon Kaiser, perhaps even via remote
API. Big providers love this, because this kills small ones
by extra costs. This is threatened by half a megaEUR and 2 years
jail.

Of course, the US is getting exactly such a legislation, too.
If you're smart, consider fighting it proactively.
