A brass figlagee with silver encrusted oak leaf clusters to the first
one who can enumerate how many saviors/gods/messiahs/deities/etc were
born on Dec 25th, the day the sun stops sinking and starts its climb
back up the sky, of a virgin birth with three kings to greet them?

Yep, mythology as seasonal calendar bookmark gone way way overboard:)-

Ya know though, its not such a bad thing to celebrate surviving to the
mid of the deadly season with enough resources to get to the good
times. So yea, happy and merry and joyous and sweetness to one and
all.

And to point this out I will say, shouting is not so much the last
bastion of the weak as is reiterative ignorance and its companion
hapless neglect. We can shout for oy, we can shout in celbration, she
can twist and shout and hoop and holler but it is truly the despicable
who whisper their litany of ignorance and superstition to undermine
all glad tidings.

So whooop it up folks, alive is not such a bad place to be.
