Shall we just say that a society that has, what, something
approximating 3.3 x 10^8 dieties is rather clearly demonstrating an
extreme pro-mysticism bias to begin with? Or conversly, that the
notion of a "god" in such a society is inherently so diluted as to
make the argument qualitatively different from the argument about
science vs. religion in a "Western" context?
Sadly even Ramanujan was afflicted with deep mystical tendencies.
