Just finished _Empire of Ivory_, Naomi Novik's 4th Temeraire book. The  
series has been taking some interesting turns, especially with the  
juxtaposition of the status of dragons in England and Wilberforce's

Starting _Glut_, Alex Wright's history of managing information

Have Jay Lake's _Mainspring_, and Charlie Stross' _Halting State_ in
