You didn't specify precisely what you meant by the scientific method,
so I'll assume you meant the standard form generally taught in Western
schools as hypothesize, test by experiment, refine, etc.
If that's your claim, I'll contest it with the claim that the
scientific method is in fact evolving to accommodate simulation and
probabilistic methods and there's no reason to think it's "fixed for
all time."
