You know, I have spent an appalling portion of the last 20-odd years  
in perpetual analysis paralysis, with a backlog of personal-hack  
projects that I've wanted to do, only a very small percentage of  
which I've ever even managed to start (beyond making copious notes,  
etc.) much less finish.

I found this somewhat inspirational, particularly the tagline;   
whether I'll manage to apply it this year at all remains to be seen:

PS - a now, what, 20-odd year vi man, and over the 40 hump, my New  
Year's resolution is...  drum roll...  learn emacs! ;-)  Whee!  That  
should keep me from accomplishing anything.  Again.  (The last time I  
tried, back in, oh, '89, I spent more time fucking with emacs Lisp  
MUD clients than actually doing anything productive.  We'll see where  
that leads this time...)
