Well, that's much like observing that ice cream has the same dietary
problems as sweets, as if surprised that frozen foods should be
likewise categorized. In my view, Marxism has most of the qualities
that make for a religion. Being steeped in western religions, we
tend to look for gods of a certain shape and form. It seems to me
that History, as the Marists see it, is just a god of a different
sort.
