they can save some HD space (this of course showing my age  ('yes son
we used to have to delete stuff because we would run out of space on
the storage device'..'no way dad, why didnt you just grow another tub
of storage?')

Gimp does more than I need from a grfx manipulation app.

Then again I have also stepped off many of the UpgradeOrPerish trains
in the last couple of years. apt-get does me a wonder of good. I smile
way more in the last couple of years when Im at my rigs.

I was amused to see the winapt-get site a few months back.
