If this is your definition of socialist, Jeff, you ever considered
voting for a Democrat (especially one with a past in activist
community organizing) because...?

Wealth redistribution of this sort has been a core tenet of the
federal government since well before any of us was born. You may or
may not like it, but it should hardly be some sort of revelatory
surprise.
