Loss of fair use of what you purchase is not a big negative to you? While I
find that hard to believe i can parse it into an understanding of where you
are coming from.

What is the old school yard wisdom...."eat shit, a million flies cant be
wrong". if the iFlies are munching on iFeces in great numbers my wanting to
dine on such does not increase. Just me though.

I want to see the breakdown of that cost analysis:)-

Evil, that is a loaded term I am not using but that you are. What I am
pointing out is that the gatekeeper asking for a toll on items I can
otherwise get without the gate, the keeper or the toll is ineffeceint at
best and a tad bit of a SM dance if I am so engaging in the practice.
This is the part I'm sensing you're not getting. For me, *the stack* ---

I hold that I do "get it" but that I would rather give it back and Get a
better deal on delivery, fair use, network utility and depth of choice.

And by gum you have the right to toss your cash and pay lip service to a
fair use society just as much as the next locked in market savy fanboy:)- I
am also sure that given your proclivity for such situations there are tech
feitsh marketeers up at night crafting you your next lusty device of limited
use and sustained cashflow from your obviously bustling cofers.

PS Now in my first plonk on this thread I hit on the Early Adopters Tax..Im
waiting to hear a scree on how that subsidizes that latter better devices
that are actualy usefull and do not turn you into a shinning example of bad
neighborism (drm free in other words)
