Yeah, Powell's is awesome... after I told him about it, my own actual
little brother once flew to Portland for an afternoon just to go
there. (He worked for an airline at the time, so this wasn't as big a
deal as it sounds, still a good story.) Austin's got some decent
stores, but nothing compared to Powell's, City of Lights in San
Francisco, or The Strand in NY. (Though to be honest, in an age of
Amazon I find actually physically shopping for something in a
bookstore, particularly like e.g. The Strand, to be a bit tedious. I
only go to brick-n-mortar now if they have something I can't wait on
Amazon for, or occasionally to get a coffee and just scan the stacks.)

As for the workflow --- good lord! Diff'ernt strokes, I suppose.
That whole process would drive me crazy. (-ier, perhaps! ;-) Sounds
like an awful lot of work. My typical workflow is:

   - type "amzn <title>" into Safari search box (that's my Amazon
Sogudi shortcut)
   - press free 2-day shipping via Prime button if present, otherwise
1-Click
   - wait

...and I'm irritated if my search takes me to a search results page
rather than straight to the book page! ;-)

Soulless, I know...
