Why are you homeschooling your kids?

"To provide religious or moral instruction 793,000 72.3 %"

Also found on that site, the numbers are growing, 1999 - 850,000 2003-
1,096,000

So slanted to the religious is much of the homeschooling efforts in
the States that there are sites specifically set up to point out
secular home schooling sources. Some of the books that get
"recommended" by many sites turn out to be thin, and often not so
thinly, vialed religious tracts. Case in point http://www.abeka.com/.
Check out this site for more on this sort of
thing...http://www.atheistview.com/secular_homeschool.htm

There are a ton more sites out there on the topic. having gone thru
all this for the last 9 years I can tell you that the bias is there
for sure.
