It's reassuring to see someone like Bronowski write so sensibly on the
same issue, without having to fall Down the Rabbit Hole -- or claim The
Unicorn Did It.
It's unfortunate that goofballs like Osho (of the original post, better
known to many as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh before his various indictments
and deportations) hook into this sort of topic, and write such sloppy
stuff about it. As Bronowski shows, if you leave out the puffed up New
Age sales pitches, it can be valuable reading.
