Ah, but there is progressive-collectivism which suborns "smarter" to the 
perceived benefits of the crowds (and the perversion of it being the 
"animal farm" some more equal than others who pick which are the desired 
benefits), and progressive-liberalism, which taken in the classical 
liberalism theory, is a philosophy to the ideal of limited government, 
constitutionalism, rule of law, due process, and liberty of individuals 
including freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and free markets.

I know which is smarter.
