So major golbal paradigm shifts do not happen overnight or even in a
few years...film at 11.

As Edward Murrow pointed out about tv, we make of this tech (books,
radio, tv, the intertubes) what we will...if we turn it into nothing
more than a way to sell items and further dig into old entrenched
thinking then we have failed, not the tech.

The net does not kill people, people with drones and bad rc control
skills kill people.
