I don't have an update, but they put in $75M to do 10,000 homes in 2011 
and it looks like they finished.

In 2007, they claimed 1.6 megawatts worth of solar panels at its 
Mountain View, Calif., headquarters. The touted at the time that within 
four days its panels had generated enough electricity to power 251,073 
hours of television viewing.

I'm not sure how the rating of the solar panel correlates to the time it 
takes to generate it.
