Sure! As long as it had been validated by human engineer using old fashion procedural tools. :-)
I really like the framing of AI as companion species, rather than super intelligence. They aren't actually smarter than us, but they are smart and different ways. As long as we are not stupid enough to wire untested system directly into the real world, they should be pretty awesome.
