Oh, man, this sucks. In forwarding something I sometimes hit the send
before I realize I need to modify the headers. And once you hit send,
you can't take it back.

Which would be fine were this not web-archived. I've complained about
this before, but let me repeat: web archives as they presently exist,
just plain stink. They are WAAAAAY too static.

For example, I cannot jump into Rohit's archives, right now, and fix
that subject line so that a year from now when I want to find it and I'm
reading all the subjects line by line (a/k/a the FoRK Search Engine,
patent pending), I actually can find it.

For all the dynamism that the Web offers, we still need better tools.
Seven years into the grand worldwide experiment that is the Web, we're
still left dreaming of A Web That One Day Might Be (TM).

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage
to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies
of those people I had to kill today because they pissed me off. Also,
help me to be careful of the toes I step on today, as they may be
connected to the ass that I may have to kiss tomorrow.
