No, it's not because Bill Gates and Marc Andreessen
are frequently
mistaken for Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper.
Rather, it is
because both organizations feature a confusing set
of officials that
make the rules, and because there often seems to be
more champions
than challengers.

Wrestling has the WWF, the WCW, and others; the
Internet has the
likes of the W3C, IETF, ECMA, and OMG. With so many
organizations sanctioning different standards, is
it possible to know
the appropriate authority to petition?
