HELLO FROM WATERSIDE!
As a current Waterside author or someone who is interested
in writing in the computer book field, we are sending
you an update of our most current projects. Since this is an ever-
changing area we=92ve decided to update our authors on a regular
basis. If you don=92t want to receive this update in the future, just
send an email message requesting to be removed from the list.

AUTHORS NEEDED FOR THESE TOPICS
We are seeking authors or author teams for many projects.
Following is a list of topic areas that are especially marketable
at this time. These are complete books, so first-time authors
may be placed on a team with others. If you=92re interested,
please respond, regardless of your experience level. We=92ll talk. . .

typically in the ballpark of $20 to $25 per page. These are
excellent short-term projects to fill empty spaces in your schedule,

authors to check out the computer publishing experience.
Please inquire. Most of these are urgent needs.

PLEASE UPDATE US ON YOUR LATEST INTERESTS
As we=92ve already mentioned, this is a quickly changing field and we
are aware that authors are constantly learning about different
technologies.
We want to be well informed of our authors=92 current skills and
interests,
so if you haven=92t filled out an author questionnaire or updated us
directly,
please do so! Let us know what you=92d like to work on or how your
experience has changed. We can fax you a form that helps you define
your topic areas for us.

GOT AN IDEA?
Do you have a concept for a book and would like to check it out with
the agency? Here=92s the best way to begin: Under the proposed title of
the book, write a one-to-two paragraph summary of the concept. This
summary should answer the question, "what is this book?" Place as
many of these summaries as you like in a document and send to Chris
at the Waterside address. Finally, wait patiently for a reply as we can
get pretty backed up sometimes.

SEND US YOUR LATEST BIO
We=92re updating our author database and including author biographies.
This will help us fill publisher needs faster, giving our authors a
better
shot at the best books by the best publishers. Even if we have your
bio from a proposal or other source, please send it again via an email.
Please do not send as an attachment, but as plain text in the body of
an email message.

Bios should be one paragraph summarizing your career history. Add
specific credits, such as a list of books you=92ve written, in a list
below
the paragraph. Please do not send resumes.
Please send to:
