In researching the prehistory of the Web, I came across a very thorough
handbook (300pp) of information services and tools available circa August
1994 as RFC 1689. Presumably, Tim contributed the chapter on the WWW -- I
sense a wonderful .sig :-)

"All WWW working notes and specs are on the web. If it is not
there somewhere, it may not be anywhere."
"Seek and ye shall find. And if ye don't, mail someone to fix it."

I'd bet ChF10 Henrik's a real "someone" :-)...

PS. The October 19, 1993 summary of Hyper-G under the "Coming Attractions"
Appendix of that RFC has a cautionary .sig in it, too: "Future plans: Too
numerous to mention."
