Of course, you still come into one of the principal quandries of 'Who patterened the meme?'. While some are detected (advertisements/jingles) some memes fail to be centralized (catch phrases or silly things like chain letters) We'd always have the problem in buying in. No claim to ownership of something that isn't readily owned. What a truly fascinating idea none the less. I've spent some time playing with the idea of memetics, so its always fun to see it mentioned here and again.

Also... Detection of memes is a skill... sometimes easier said (and noticed) once they've spread (and would inevitiably be not hot anymore) .. Rambling now..
