I grew up in the late 70's. It was a great place. You could go to downtown
for after hours clubs. You could drive down Whilshire Blvd. and not have it
look like Panama. Do you know that Whilshire and Alvarado has a special
ordinance that allows street vendors with push carts. It's a third world
The streets are in total disrepair. It's just a shithole plan and simple.
> And how much better can OC be than LA county when OC has lovely Santa Ana?
Yeah, and who goes there? How good can NoCal be that has lovely east Palo Alto?
> And aren't OC and LA county interdependent enough that you really don't want
> LA county going bankrupt?
I don't think L.A. eating shit will effect OC too much one way or the
other. OC went belly up and L.A. didn't do squat about it. The only thing
that I can see happeneing is the Police/Fire that live down here and work
in L.A. will look for jobs here.
