MCI Communications Corp. will reduce its Sunday state-to-state
long-distance rate to $0.05 a minute, from $0.09-$0.16 currently,
effective immediately. The rate reduction will be available 24 hours
on Sundays to MCI's residential customers. The company said customers
who use the company's flagship brand, MCI One, currently pay $0.12 a
minute for state-to-state long distance calls on Sundays, and will
receive the new lower rate. (Reuters)
